TQF-FS & TQF-QM Certification Bodies

The term "certification" refers to the process by which an accredited certification body, based on an audit of the food factory, provides written assurance that the food safety requirements of its products and its quality management systems have been documented and implemented, and conform to the requirements of the TQF-FS Program/TQF-QM Program.
Food factories applying for certification under the TQF-FS Program/TQF-QM Program must apply to a TQFA-authorized Certification Body to conduct certification activities. Upon the granting of certification (or positive certification decision), the Certification Body shall sign a contract and issue the certificate. TQFA-authorized Certification Bodies must be accredited to the current version of the international standard ISO/IEC 17065 and be subject to annual assessments of their certification activities conducted by an Accreditation Body entrusted by TQFA.
