Total Quality Food Association (hereinafter referred to as TQFA) held multiple online and offline events in Taiwan to celebrate “World Food Safety Day” established by World Health Organization (WHO) on June 7th. The calling messages from TQFA for the public to follow “World Food Safety Day” will be shown in 7-Eleven all over Taiwan, likewise having the first collaboration with Taiwan largest e-commerce platform, PChome24h by launching “TQF Flagship Store” and giving more offers to consumers (spend 607 NTD get 67 P coins). According to the food safety investigation by WHO, an average of 1.6 million people over the world suffer from illness due to unsafe food every day, and it may cause about 200 types of foodborne diseases. Trilateral cooperation between Taiwan and Japan TQF x JFSM x PChome held the open ceremony for 2023 World Food Safety Day
Since TQFA signed a Partnership Agreement with Japan Food Safety Management (hereinafter referred to as JFSM) in 2022, both sides have continuously promoted a few business cooperations. Recently, TQFA has led groups of food enterprises to Japan for marketing matchmaking between Taiwan and Japan. On the day of World Food Safety Day, the TQF Facebook fans page held a “Taiwan-Japan cross-border live broadcast” with TQFA Chairman Chou Neng-Chuan, Chairman of JFSM Association Tetsuro Ohba and Vice General Manager Mr Wan from the E-commerce Department of PChome, to reveal a “World Food Safety Day” series events together.

Publics supports World Food Safety Day Choose the “TQF certified products“
To ensure consumers’ rights and stabilized food industry development, TQFA established TQF Program by taking Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) as a benchmark to set up the certification standard, its standard includes GMP, HACCP, FSM and QM. There are up to 117 food companies, 157 food factories and 253 production lines had passed the TQF Program, including food factories of Uni-President, King Car Food, Hon Chuan, HeySong, Wei Chuan, AGV, Taiwan Sugar, Kuang Chuan, Taisun, Vedan etc. Moreover, TQF Program identified 28 food sector categories, and more than 4000 certified products, in which beverages, dairy products, noodles, canned foods, soy sauces etc. are general, the certified high-quality products are able to get from hypermarkets, and retail stores.
